Heerema Fabrication Group, HFG is a globally operating contracting group which specializes in the engineering
and fabrication of large and complex structures, mainly for the oil & gas and energy industry. The CORESYS implementation project to replace the now former ERP solution was closed mid February 2009 in Oslo after a successful Go-Live implementation at HFG. 

The project delivered a complete WeldEye® Management application, customizations and a full integration with the IFS ERP System.
Both prime contractor, IFS BeNeLux B.V and the customer, Heerema Fabrication Group B.V. have accepted the Weldindustry delivery. Weldindustry has now been working closely together with HFG to establish a License and Service Agreement. The new contract was signed on 30th of June 2009 at Heerema’s site in the city of Zwijndrecht, Netherlands.

“This is a good and extensive contract which will secure HFG complete Maintenance and Support on all deliveries directly from Weldindustry AS, as well as future licenses” says ICT responsible Arjen Hoefkens which was responsible from HFG to close the contracts.

“This show that Weldindustry have matured and that we have an optimized organization which can handle direct support to larger customers located in multiple countries, something that has been our goal for a long time. Also, having HFG, a big offshore partner, as a reference customer is something that we are very proud of” says Tore Haukanes, CEO at Weldindustry AS.

The contract covers Maintenance and Support on both the WeldEye® core product as well as all customizations. This also includes and secures the important integration kit between WeldEye® and the IFS system. An End User Support contract was also signed, ensuring HFG has direct interface to Weldindustry R&D resources.
