STX Norway Offshore AS at Søviknes has selected WeldEye® ASP solution. As one of six STX Europe yards in Norway, Søviknes is an important player in what can be described as one of the world’s most complete maritime clusters. The shipyard is a leader in advanced offshore and special adapted vessels where WeldEye® will be used for maintaining all Welding Procedures.

In addition to being the main administration tool for the complete production process for all projects, the solution will also be used to administer all welding procedures and welder certificate.

Edison Welding Institute has chosen WeldEye® Welding Procedure module from Weldindustry AS.
The signed contract covers implementation of WeldEye® Welding Procedure module at Edison Welding Institute’s own IT infrastructure, concurrent user licenses, Super user training as well as Maintenance & Support contracts.
Having Edison Welding Institute as a reference customer in the US market is strategically very important for us, says Tore Haukanes, CEO in Weldindustry AS.
