Weldindustry participated in a delegation from Business Region Bergen to Houston and the Offshore Technology Conference.

In the period from 4 to 7 of May was this year's Offshore Technology Conference held in Houston. Weldindustry was represented by Tore Haukanes and Lars Angeltveit. This year we chose to follow a delegation from Business Region Bergen. This delegation, numbering 28 participants, represented a mix of politicians, industry players and representatives from Innovation Norway and Business Region Bergen. We had a hectic schedule with visits to two companies, (FMC and Halliburton) several presentations and receptions, among others the Norwegian consul in Houston. We also made several tours to the exhibition. We are left with a good impression after this trip. It was instructive, and we made many new and useful contacts in this network.
