| WeldEye® implemented at Aker Solutions |

Weldindustry AS has through its existing General Agreement with Aker Solutions, finalized an implementation project of WeldEye® for Aker Solutions Tranby. Being a high-end manufacturing site for subsea components, supporting a range of customers worldwide, there is a constant need to improve quality processes to meet customer needs. WeldEye® was found suitable to continue this focus on quality. The project has reached it’s Go-Live date as planned. The project was divided into multiple phases where the most important phase being the "MAP solution" phase. All production related processes at Aker Solutions were evaluated and a detailed GAP analysis towards WeldEye® as a supporting system was done. Weldindustry personnel supported Aker Subsea internally in this phase through its broad experience in production processes and methodology. The result being a perfect match between complex production processes at Aker Solutions and WeldEye® as a supporting system. "This will above all become an important tool for us in Aker Solutions" says Gunnar Iversen, responsible for implementation at Aker Solutions. "Now we have implemented a complete welding management system that supports all Aker Solutions Tranby's specific production processes. This will impact and improve quality, documentation, and control in all phases of our production" he adds. "Aker Solutions is a very valuable reference project for us" says Tore Haukanes, Managing Director at Weldindustry AS. "It shows that our implementation process works, that our WeldEye® application is in line with marked requirements and that our product has matured and that the System is able to support complex production processes".
